AL RAQIS - The commander of UFS operations in Al Raqis has recently released the following statement.

I wanted to clarify a couple of things that have come to my attention recently. United Federation Starfleet (UFS) currently occupies the small outpost on Splintered Rock. UFS is NOT and NEVER HAS BEEN linked or affiliated with Starfleet Torchwood Command (STC).
Any issues that relate to "Starfleet" need to be clarified. UFS has, recently, been implicated in RP activity that is neither sanctioned nor approved by either the commanding officer of Outpost Alpha, nor by UFS Command.
UFS takes a neutral stance on issues relating to the Mu Draconis System and is committed to peace, scientific endeavour and exploration of this unique planet.
Any issues relating to this can be addressed to my office or the Commanding Officer of Outpost Alpha, Lieutenant AthenaDax Zoon.
